My draw to photos began early, no older than five, taking pictures of my brother in our backyard with a disposable camera. Over the years my interests have ebbed and flowed, but photos — specifically film photos — have always remained constant. Since 2023, I’ve been fortunate enough to document weddings full time.
I currently live in Texas with my husband, Nathan, and our pup, Remi. A few things that fuel my creativity are hotworx, documenting my personal life on film, sewing, and baking - more specifically figuring out ways to make my favorite baked goods gluten and refined sugar free. My entry into weddings was in 2021 when I second shot for a friend. From the very beginning, I was inspired by the raw emotions and outpouring of love from family and friends gathered to celebrate the couple’s union. Five years later, it is still an honor to be trusted with such meaningful moments.

My Approach
My entry into weddings was in 2021 when I second shot for a friend. From the very beginning, I was inspired by the raw emotions and outpouring of love from family and friends gathered to celebrate the couple’s union. Four years later, it is still an honor to be trusted with such meaningful moments.

what inspires me:
01 FILM
I document my personal life with a point and shoot film camera that lives in my bag. Unlike iPhone photos - which can be instantly viewed, shared, and often never printed - film feels more genuine, more intentional. It's a small effort of bringing back a few analog aspects into my life. At the end of each year, I compile my favorite shots into a coffee table book - big fan of making photos tangible and revisiting them often.
what inspires me:
01 New York
You’ll find me in NYC at least twice a year, if not more - typically once in the spring and once around Christmas. My personal must-dos include a film photo walk through Central Park, a matcha from Sorate, shopping in SoHo, and dinner at Arthur & Sons or Buddakan.
01 Music
Music brings me so much inspiration. While I don’t know much from a technical or musical perspective, I love hearing artists talk about their work and creative process. Seeing an artist live and experiencing the show they’ve poured so much thought and effort into brings it full circle (the Djo concert changed my life). Naturally, I have to take a film photo and buy a vinyl.
